Frequently Asked Questions

 Q:  How much is delivery?

 A:  Due to the various weights of our wide range of Greek Specialities, we feel it is fair to our customers to offer bandings for delivery charges based on the gross weight of the parcel.   We also try to keep delivery costs as low as possible by reusing packaging materials. 

 Gross weight includes the weight of the product, the product packaging, packing materials and box. 

 Gross weight between up to 2kg = £4.99 (via Royal Mail or Courier)

 Gross weight between 2-20kg = £6.95 (via courier - signature required upon delivery)

For small orders with a gross weight of 1kg or less, please email for delivery quotation.  If we can safely send your order via 2nd Class Royal Mail Package Post we will be able to offer you a lower P&P charge.

 Alternatively, orders processed directly via the website which weigh 1kg or less when packed will receive a partial refund of standard delivery charges paid when the order was placed.  

 Q:  When can I expect to receive my order?

 A:  For deli, skin care orders and favours materials, we aim to fulfil your order within 7 working days of receiving payment. 

       For favours the time is longer depending on the quantity ordered and the date they are required.  Delivery dates for favours are notified via email.  4 weeks notice is usually required but please email for details.

 Q:  Where do you deliver to?

 A:  We deliver via 3rd party carrier to mainland UK.  We also deliver to Scottish Highlands & Islands, Northern Ireland and Eire.Delivery charge for your area should be given when you check out.  For other destinations including Channel Islands, please email us for further information.

 Q:  Are your products suitable for nut allergy sufferers?

 A:  Whilst our products are of the highest quality, we cannot guarantee that they have not been produced without the risk of nut contamination.  Therefore, we do not advise that nut allergy sufferers purchase deli products or favours sweets from our website.

 Q:  How can I pay for my order?

 A:  Currently we accept credit and debit card payments via Paypal or payment from Paypal Account.  Alternatively, you can print your order and fax, email or post it to us with your UK bank cheque payable to ‘Rizos’ to:-

 Q:  Can I collect my order rather than pay for delivery?

 

If you wish to collect your order, please select the options given as you checkout.  Local collection of orders can be arranged.  Please email for details.

 Q:  Can I get samples of favours from you?

 A:  You can purchase a reasonable number of non-returnable samples from us.

 Q:  I like the design of favours on your site, but cannot see one that matches my colour scheme.  Can I have favours made to my own specification?

 A:  We can make favours to customer’s specifications.  Please contact us for details and further discussion of requirements.  We regret that orders for customer specified favours cannot be cancelled.

Q:  Why do your DIY favour kits not include fillings?

A:  To offer customers a range of prices and choice, we consider it to be better value to sell DIY kits without sugared almonds or sugar coated chocolate buttons.  Customers then have the freedom to select their own fillings to take into account budget, food allergies and other requirements.  If required, customers can purchase a box of Top Quality Italian Sugared Almonds from Rizos via the Make Your Own Section.
